    Special mention eh? ;) Roll on DRC in two weeks.

    On topic, Fermoy's range was very nice. Conditions were hard, and wind gave much hassle in the second detail, but definitely a good day, a nice range and I hope to be back next time they run a competition too. The shoot was well run and a good time was had. Thanks to all for the good work on the day.

    Got to look at Bounty Hunter's snazzy new frames too. Don't think I'll be going for anything quite as high end, but they seem to be very much worthwhile, so going to order some frames from Varga and find an optician to do the glasswork. Sight picture distortion is starting to get on my nerves. Thanks for letting me look at them, and good result with them too. :)

    It was great to get a day out in Fermoy. It's a lovely set of ranges with good facilities (hot water, flushing toilets, a working fridge :eek::D) and we were all made feel very welcome.

    It was a tricky shoot with rapidly changing light conditions and very variable winds which made it extremely useful for learning more about how to deal with the weather. I do too much of my shooting indoors, so it's always great to get some practice in different weather conditions. I'll definitely try to make it back for next year's shoot.
