Since I started looking at baby stuff I have found that the exact same thing can vary wildly in price.
I have also discovered we have some sort of Ireland tax that makes sure we need to be completely fleeced, though I think we know that generally.

I found prices on http://www.bimbomarket.it/en/ very reasonable compared to the exact equivalent here.
I also found that http://www.woolworths.co.uk have some good deals.

Anyone else have and suggestions of shops or websites to buy things for baby from?

www.WoodenToys.ie do some nice baby stuff.

    *Declares affilliation*

    :-)

We'll actually be getting a lot more baby stuff in, in the near future - so keep a lookout!

We bought some items off this site:

    http://www.babydaysdirect.co.uk/

Some good value stuff compared to shops in Ireland. Note though...they don't ship wooden furniture items (cot beds etc) to Ireland for some reason.

I've started heading North for nappies, SMA and the like. A lot of the stuff is half the price, literally.

I'm the same. Big tub of Sma in Boots is about €8.50, Bonjela €2.50, Calpol about €3 and the nappies are cheap as well, but can't remember exact price.

Depends whether you will be breastfeeding or bottlefeeding, but Lidl do Farleys formula for only €8.78, whereas the other brands in most other shops average about €12. It all adds up when you're buying at least one box a week.
