Sendit.com address warning

I've just selected some items from delivery from sendit.com.
Logged in to my account, look at my saved delivery addresses, and the rest of the details are all correct except for the country, which now reads "Iran, Islamic Republic of"

Ireland seems to have moved in the address list, which is now no longer alphabetical: Indonesia, Ireland, Israel, India, Iraq, Iran

So if you'rve ordered anything recently which hasn't shown up, check your delivery address as it could be on its way to Iran!

[edit] Forgot to mention, I had trouble getting in to my account, when I got it sent to me turns out my password had been abbreviated to 8 characters. Looks like they've done some kind of DB update that's messed a few things up.

Just checked my account and all my details are gone. Name, address, credit card, all wiped. Only my email address remains. Must have been a fairly disastrous database update.

I thought at first they'd wiped all my info too, but they'd just removed the favourites - I was still able to select saved addresses from a list when I got to the order stage. C/c details are gone though.
Trying to correct my details keeps giving me an error, so hopefully they've just disabled updates while they fix it up.

There were no addresses in mine, so I couldn't re-select a favorite. There was one address, which was blank, except for Country which said IPOINTS. Very strange.

I did manage to enter a new address, but didn't try the card yet. Use 000000 as postcode if that's an issue.

I had the IPOINTS one too - I think it's some way of tying your account to their iPoints loyalty scheme, but I'd imagine it's not supposed to show up to the users.

Looking at it again, they seem to have introduced a new street name field, and I think in doing so they've also dropped the last line off my address.

0000 was accepted OK for postcode, ta.

Sent sendit customer service a message pointing out that my password had been changed, my address details garbled, and that any attempt to correct them led to an error.

They replied acknowledging that since their website relaunch they've been having difficulty with people's order history and hitlist, which they're working to correct. Which is nothing to do with the problem I reported.

I'd steer clear of them for now, they seem to have made a major mess of things.

Things have improved, but only slightly.

My address still showed as Islamic Republic of Iran, but at least now I was able to change it to Ireland.
Re-entered my c/c details, and ordered Spore on Monday.

Then found it cheaper somewhere else, so cancelled the order. That took about 5 hours to process.

Got a mail last night confirming that my order had been cancelled.
And looking at the site, I have no outstanding orders.

Except I just got an 'order update' mail quoting my (cancelled) order number, and advising me that the release date for Spore is Monday.

The system is obviously still a bit borked.
