crippling cramps

    i have been suffering from serious cramps in my left leg for some weeks now- i wake up at night with the pain and nothing seems to relieve it except walking on it. i have a back injury as well and thought that this may have been the cause but now im not so sure. i am a taxi driver who has given up smoking so i dont get out of my van as much as i used to- was thinking that maybe the lack of exercise and/or repetitive use of the clutch may be causing it though i havent worked in 2 weeks. anyone have any ideas or can reassure me that its not something more serious?
