I've decided to buy a used Celica, hopefully soon enough but I wouldn't have a clue if I'm being sold a dud or not. More than likely, I'll be buying from a private seller. What I want to know is, is there such a service available where you can hire a mechanic to come and inspect the car with you? I know the AA provides such a service, but it certainly doesn't come cheap!

www.cartell.ie will do it for €295 which will include a mileage check and an outstanding finance check. Could be the best €295 ever spent.

Your trusted mechanic should check it out for you. The AA inspection is expensive but is good and worth it for piece of mind.
