I was unaware there actually was a book about him.
Please tell me it's a good read !!

I'm a huge fan and if it's any good I'd go out today and order it.

Besides his incredible boxing career, there are so many stories about the man I can't imagine any half-decent author not being able to turn the raw material into a good book.

Is it available in Ireland ?

It is a great read and full of little stories about his childhood and life outside the ring. I got the book in Waterstones in the Jervis centre (Dublin), so I imagine you could find it in most large bookshops.
The Author went to panama to live for several months so the book is full of interviews of all connected to Duran.
It really is an excellent read and I highly recommend it.

Yea I bought this off amazon for about 20euros last year and really enjoyed it.

Lots of interviews with those associated with Duran which results in several different versions of some of the most famous stories about him (knocking out 5 guys at once, knocking out a horse, knocking out an opponents wife etc etc.) Very good read.
