Looking at the Varga frames, and just wondering are there any important differences between the Varga 2000 series and the 2000 Special Plus. Is it worth the extra money for the more expensive frames? Thanks in advance.

    How much extra?
(And looking at them, I don't think I'd pay that much more for the higher-up model)

    I wouldn't.

World cups have been won with a combination of regular glasses and duct tape.

The 2000 series are fine. I have a pair for pistol shooting and am getting the prone nosepiece when Miroslav gets back from his "holidays" in Beijing :)
