Need a suggestion please to combat boredom for 2 weeks in Septemeber

    I'm bored.. I'm also probably in the middle of the mid-life crisis (if you believe the stats) so I'm also bored with normal holidays at this point.

    Assuming a budget of 4-6K, and a max flight time of 8 ish hours and a desperate need to do something unusual this time out for approx 2 weeks in September, can anyone suggest something unique/different for a holiday?
