I'm buying a digital piano but am slightly clueless. Which is better, Kawai, Casio, Yamaha or Roland? Can anyone help?

For live use, nothing is better than a Roland. Solid build and I've seen one fall a few times and still work. The RD 150 is a very good option.

Depends if your going to be gig'in it or is it just for home use?

Not too sure yet. Mostly for home use though.

If its just for messin' about at home and recording then check out M-audio Kigrig 49. I got one a while ago, pretty cool. You can use it for controlling synths and other plugins you may have in your DAW. :)

yamaha is always a safe bet. they generally have good quality digital pianos and the prices are fairly reasonable for what you get. enjoy:):)
