Is there a really really simple way to get an avi file and automatically get it encoded and then burnt onto a dvd?
    Thanks

Nero , Roxio , VSO ConvertXtoDVD (with VSO CopyToDVD) , WinAVI with your favourite DVD burning software . Plenty of others too , and I'm sure others will add their favourites .
My own preference is VSO .

Check the FAQ. Gonna lock this one because it comes up a _lot_.
