    I got a Sky + box off adverts and tried to record and said it wasnt active on my account, rang them up anyway and they said it would be active within 2min-24 hours i am just wondering do they activate it via phone line cos i dont have phone line connected to that box?

    they activate it via satellite
    (no phone line required)
