With the success of the Dublin Zoo meet yesterday, I'm wondering if any of us Southerners are interested in going to Fota Park. The weekend I have in mind would be the first weekend of September.

    I'm up for it.
any chance of getting 20? that would give group prices.

Well oeb, I've thrown out the first weekend as a guide. I'd say most of us would be completely flexible on the exact date if needed.

Wouldn't mind going but have other commitments for that weekend which can't be avoided, shame as its a pleasent enough drive down and all.

    more info http://www.fotawildlife.ie/

    Admission Rates & Opening Times.

    Opening times are as folloows.

    Monday-Saturday 10.00 a.m.

    Sundays 11.00 a.m.

Last entry at 5pm every day
    Gates closed at 6pm

don't forget the Cheetah feed at 4pm, worth seeing, also if you stay right till the end (about 5.30 or so) you'll see them bringing the Giraffes in which is interesting to see especially when the keepers have to protect themselfs from the aggressive head male

Is this still on and if so what time are ppl meeting?

Live only a few miles from Fota so its not a problem to get there.
