    sup. im overtone.
ive been playing for two years
    i love my acoustic walden.
but for the last year ive been in obsession with bass guitars and my peavey zodiac. ive been writing songs for a long time. i have my own style of bass but my peavey just cant cut it, i like to play incredibly low! on a standard tuned bass, an open e string for my ( a 0 zero) is a minus five for standard tuned, ha.

im not happy with the way my bass handles these tones. its too rattley and percussive.

has anyone got any good advice on which brand or model of a bass would suit my style.

price is no option, obviously cheaper the better but still.

thanks in advance to those who arent lazy enough to write back,

If you need to go that low and dont want rattle then you need a bass with a longer scale and thicker strings. I'd suggest a Knuckle Quake, it's 39.5" scale. http://www.knuckleguitarworks.com

Does that thing come with arm extensions? Anyways a 35" 5 stringer would be a nice option, something like a Lakland 55-94. If you have problems with the longer scale then an Ibanez K5 would do the job, dont laugh that bass is excellent its just not eqed properly on recordings.
