    Hi

Does anyone have any proposed map or even an aerial 3d view of the currently under construction by-pass... The main area i'm interested in is around the slieverue area

I know slieverue is in kilkenny but seen as its a waterford by-pass I thought I would post here first.

Not looking for a debate on the boundary

The Slieverue pictre in that is a bit out of date, the roundabout is open now, just waiting for it to be joined onto the port road and to the village...

    cheers for that

looks like from the map that there are going to be little or no slip roads from the old roads onto the new by-pass. That seems a bit ridiculous but I guess we'll have to wait and see

Where are you looking to get onto the new road from? I presume the easiest way is to come out from the road that passes Eirfab then head to the roundabout and whereever you want to go from there. Alternatively come out at the mile post if that's closer to you. No big deal?

at the moment you can't come out at eirfab and get on to the new road you can only exit slieverue from the milepost at the moment. I don't know if its temporary or not but its definitely not an option at the moment

The milepost exit is a good bit out of the way if your going to new ross from the eirfab side

I didnt know the Eirfab road was closed at that end. There's always the option to come onto the N25 after the road works at 52.324400, -7.055760 or 52.334430, -7.056000 depending on what other roads are still open.

As far as i know the second entrance to Slieverue (as you're coming from the city side, the one closest to the primary school) will connect to the rounabout also. The same roundabout the port road is going onto...

Ah excellent if they open up a slip onto the new roundabout at the primary school exit that would be ideal... guess we'll just have to see

From reliable sources, there is definitely a link from the new Slieverue roundabout into slieverue village, also from same source a web site is to launched shortly with details and progress photographs of various sections of the bypass

Correct once you get on the bypass at Slieverue end the only place you will be able to leave it will be at Grannagh roundabout, just before the bridge/toll booth, can I ask why you think the lack of entrances/exits onto the bypass 'seems a bit ridiculous'?

According to the their map, it seems the best way into the City from Cork is to still use the 'old' Cork Road through Kilmeaden. That can't be right surely?

Or maybe your supposed to turn off here http://www.waterfordcity.ie/n25bypass/bawnfune.htm

Best way from Cork into Waterford once the bypass is in place will be to turn off at the Western Link http://www.waterfordcity.ie/n25bypass/westernlinkgallery.htm which in turn links up with the Outer Ring Road
