hey all, would anyone have any knowledge on this, have a leak in me roof just over the window, got a roofer mate to replace some broken slates but the leak remains,he hasnt got his roof ladder to inspect again til during the week but he reckons it could be my fascia board thats leaking,if this turns out to be the case who could repair it?would it be just a normal builder or are there people who specialise in this?thanks in advance.

Without knowing the design of your roof I'd have thought the leak would be very unlikely to be anything to do with the facia board, since that is usually well away from the window frame. Much more likely is that the liner under the roof tiles is perforated so that any water that seeps through the tiles (and it does in winds or when there are broken tiles) doesn't get directed out to the gutter. Not unusual with tiled or slated roofs, but the only way of dealing with it is to remove the tiles/slates and replace or patch the liner.
