What to do?

Hey guys I picked this up yesterday and I'm just wondering what I should do with it.



My first thought was to convert it to run MAME but now I'm not to sure.

The info I can find on it is it's made by a company called "Nichibutsu" and is a licened version of Space Invaders called "Moon Base". It's dated to somewhere between '78 and '80 and has a B&W monitor with colour overlays. It all works although I think the game isn't quiet right but I'll look at that again.

Can anyone give me more info about the machine? or any suggestions as to what I should do with it.

I would like to clean this game up but I think the game itself is screwed.

When you play the game the aliens don't move left and right as they come down (like in normal Space Invaders) they just come straight down. Do you know if this is something that can be repaired on the board or is the useless?

Check the power supply to the board is correct,check that all socket chips are seated properly,check for bent/broken pins etc.Checkout jammaplus.com might be able to pick up a 2nd hand board there,etc

yep have 1 left pm me your number and I will see what i can do,you need to run a atx power supply to run the board,extra wire loom for the 5/6 player buttons(included) and then connects to the jamma loom.
