Ok so, i'm a graduate of a french degree and i've no idea what to get into. I'm willing to try anything. I've applied for banking. teaching, clerical. I have 6 months office experience so that might help. I was looking at jobs where people need a french speaker but they are not widly available. I was thinking about marketing because there seems to be a lot of money to make in that area. Why is this, has anyone worked in marketing. I want a job that is not the same day in day out because i get easily bored and like to have a bit of motivation etc etc..

Here are a few marketing jobs i was looking at. I guess i wont know until i give it a go.

I would love to try teaching but i have no experience so i could try a bit of subbing. Help me

Marketing is one of those weird jobs where you do very little and get paid an awful lot. That's my experience of working with marketing people anyway. :)

Here's an idea: why don't you go work in Paris?

The money isn't quite a good over there, but the cost of living is a lot cheaper than Dublin.

those marketing jobs look dodgy if you ask me, I know of similar "marketing" jobs that were around a while ago which involved people working in the marketing field for "a major client" being paid purely on commission selling teddy bears and the like be careful as to what these jobs will entail before you commit to anything.

Yeah, I only looked at those jobs now.

As a general rule, any company which goes through staff so quickly that it constantly needs 15 people to start tomorrow... you can be sure its a commission only job or door to door sales.

    Those look like Sales jobs.

The work in France option mentioned above sounds like a good idea worth exploring. Maybe teach english over there for a few months, while improving your own French.
