It referrs to Norton! :eek:

Norton is not installed but may have been at some stage in the past.

I ran the Norton removal tool & it suggested that it was removing it!

I restarted the machine but am still getting the Msg about two firewalls in the security center.

The reason I'm looking at this at all is because I'm able to navigate to almost any Website I choose with the exception of two!

If I navigate to www.msn.ie (which opens fine) I can't open either the link for Hotmail or Messenger.

Both these links worked fine until the laptop was infected by the rogue program "Antivirus 2009" which I removed using "Mialwarebytes Anti Mailware".

Mailwarebytes appears to have removed the "Antivirus 2009" but it's only since this I've had the problem navigating to Hotmail & Messenger.

I've tried all the usual IE7 & Firefox settings (SSL's) & such but with no joy.

Could the issue in the security center be blocking me? & how can I resolve it?
