    Guys, quick question - how come there's no Trinity college archery club?

    When the various Junior Irish team members scattered to the 4 winds after the leaving cert, nobody went to Trinity?

    That's one reason - another being that nobody seems too pushed - we've contacted their sports admin in the past to offer assistance in getting one started, but nobody seems to want to give it a try..

    I'm surprised noone's interested. You'd get an 18m range in Luce hall indoors easily. Not sure if you'd ever get permission for outdoors shooting, but there are two green areas with a good 90m of room right there. Seems like a bit of a waste really. But then, on the other hand, after a few years dealing with DUCAC and the TCD Department of Sport, I could understand the general reluctance to trying to start something that the college didn't approve of...
