i know people from Carlow who got stocked up for that, they have one of those windowless rooms in the middle of the house that had enough food stored for the street "just in case", nervous laughter all round, me from embarrsement, them from thinking that i wasn't been let into that room if anything did happen and hopefully nobody would bring up the subject of how many people it fitted.:eek:

Was there not some crackpot about 20 yrs ago who predicted the Sept 11th attacks, and said America would invade Iraq and afghanistan.
He went on to say that on the 08-08-08, russia would invade some small country, and because the US was so tied up with its other wars, it would just retaliate within days with a nuclear strike against Russia, triggering WW3 ?
