WitH a few previous threads discussing the expensive camera shops in Dublin and the on-line value to be had from U.K, Asia and U.S.A, I would like to know where the cheapest or best value camera shop is in Dublin:rolleyes:

Shiny, I think I would be middle of the road with my gear. Have been looking for 70-300 is for canon 400d. I would like to have the 40d but not at current Dublin prices. Would also like 70-200f2.8 but not at Dublin prices.
Placebo, Does reputation mean you can pick a number and say thats the price? They all claim to have reputations. Been in to that shop a few times and just found it ok.

I like Halls in Talbot Street, found them really good to deal with. No pressure and good advice. Still expensive:p
Just a thought, Are there to many camera shops in Dublin?

    Just. Buy. Abroad.

Abroad is the only way Leo if you are buying that sort of
    equipment.

You could buy in Ireland but if you want to pay an extra
€500 or more, for a 70-200f2.8 then you are more than
    welcome to do so.

But you would be foolish to do so. :)

The reputable Ebay shops are your friend.
