management position in tesco

    any here have any experience or heard stories of management in tesco...

    now i know the horror stories of working in dunnes n penneys and the hardship you have to put up with long hours etc and well from my experience of dunnes the managers are the worst treated people in the dunnes empire because of the lack of union.. but anyways any one have any inside info how what its like to work for them

    hye i work for tesco as a manager for the last three years there brilliant to work for hard going and not much of a home life but the money is good and lots of job satisfaction you should send them your cv they pay better than any other retail company

    From the customer's point of view it looks like a Tesco manager has an easy life - no need to be on the floor, no need to do stock control, no need to check up on whether pricing is correct (or visible). Net effect - no stock, incorrect pricing.

    From the customer's point of view it looks like a Dunnes manager has to work his/her ass off - be on the floor, keep stock moving onto shelves, ensure that pricing is correct.Net effect - well stocked shelves, correct pricing.
