    Anyhow.
I told him that I was all over the place trying to get one. He said, if you have any more friends looking for them we have 6 left in stock.

    Right,
After the way he was sounding there will only be 5 by tonight :D

    Ah,,
WHERE ARE THEY ? I hear you ask :P

I was tempted to get one today, had one in my hand as there were 3 left on the shelf in mahon point, but thought, are they such a good idea?

Surely, the difference wouldnt be huge between hd and sd on a 32" lcd hd ready tv,or would it?And what about the availability of hd content movies?

Can it be used for example on its own in another room or does it need to be connected to the xbox360 all the time?

    Regards,

    Kieran

There's a huge difference between HD and SD on a 32" TV. The HDDVD drive has to be used on the 360 and you can buy HDDVDs for dirt cheap online. Some HDDVDs are cheaper than DVDs.
