Does anyone know where I could get my hands on the above?
It was published by the National Rehabilitation Board.
It was a condition on a planning that I demonstate compliance with this but Google is showing nothing.

    Thanks

    Try

RIAI bookshop - Merrion SQ Dublin 2

Central Remedial Clinic - Clontarf Dublin 3

Govt Publications - Molesworth St Dublin 2

Failing that - borrow from either UCD or Bolton St architects library

Thanks Sinnerboy. Wealth of information as usual.
    Unfortunatly not in Dublin though.
I might ring the Rehabilitation Board or Govt Publications on Monday.
I don't know why compliance with Part M isn't sufficient for them

The National Disability Authority (NDA) might also be worth asking about this

I sent off an email to the NDA. The National Rehabilitation Board seems to have been dissolved a few years ago. The NDA seem to be what replaced them.
    Thanks Armchairninja

    Good point.

The current Part M is still the standard although I understand that it is currently being reviewed.

I Hope its okay to post this link it isnt exactly what you looking for but might help in some way has a lot of good information on it remenber Part M is only a guidance document and a minimum and designing to a minimum is not always a good idea

Just on the door side, Until recently it was maximun 21mm rise for door step, I understand this is being revised down to 15mm. All great except that with only 15mm to play with how are the manufacturers supposed to get an adequate weather seal? Even on 21mm the bottom of the sash, most likely to receive the worst of the weather, was by far the weakest part of the door, sealing wise.

Bit daft IMO as any disabled person struggling with even 30mm step will also struggle with 15mm!

Just a little ditty that frustrates me:o

Where on earth are you getting your information from?
TGD-M has required 'level access' thresholds at 15mm since 2000
I have seen some suspect looking thresholds (and glass markings) on imported product but the majority of the industry has abided by the Regulations
I trust none of your customers will be having any compliance issues with installed product ;)

Monty is spot on, its always been 15mm.
It should make any difference over 21mm either.

Structuraly level, with a 15mm threshold piece to provide the seal.
