Pixmania Problem

    I ordered this camera from Pixmania the other day

    Very good price, delivery was very quick

    When I received it, I checked all the items in the package were not damaged before I signed for it, however later on I noticed that the camera is not black, it is actually a dark purple colour. This is only a small problem, but I would still prefer a black camera over a purple one, after all it is what I ordered. I went to look at this exact camera in PC World before I ordered it, and this is clearly not the same colour

    If I return this to Pixmania, what charges am I liable for? Will I have to pay for returning it to them / delivery costs to get a new camera posted from France? This is their mistake and I should not suffer financially because of it

    You'd have to check what the returns policy is first. Most places make you pay the return cost, and then they cover the cost of the replacement to you. Pixmania could be different, some places arrange a pick up so you pay nothing.

    Having said that, you may want to consider just keeping it as I know that Pixmania's RMA procedure is absolutely woeful, and could cause so many headaches. Unless you really, really, really, REALLY want the black one, just keep the one you have would be so much simpler for you. It's not something you want to endure unless you absolutely have to.
