if you right click in My Computer and look under your name where it says "Registered to" there is a serial number, this serial number isnt the product key is it? if not what is it exactly? also if i have 5 computers with the same serial number does that mean they were all installed with the same product key and therefore…

Not a clue what it is tbh because its not the product key. Must be related to the system configuration in some way however.

If you need your serial key, google and install Magic Jelly Bean.

not volume license keys may not be unique, especially for OEM factory installs,
