    Morning,

Does anyone have any information on some mountain bike tracks in Wicklow region? Where would be the best tracks about to give them a go?

Also, is there possibly anywhere that rent bikes for the day near any of them? Some of us don't have bikes, but would love to head down.

    Cheers!

Ballinastoe is great, nothing too hard and the trails are marked. Not sure if it would be suitable for first time mountain bikers though http://www.coillteoutdoors.ie/index.php?id=54&trail=135&trail_type=2&no_cache=1

There is a guy that sets up a stall down there every weekend and rents bikes. You have to call in advance to organise bikes from him, but I don't have his number.

Yeah, Ballinastoe would be a good place to go - it's the only marked mtb trail around there. Brian Conway is the guy who rents bikes at the trail-head, but I don't have his number right now. You might also be able to rent bikes here:

I knew it would be worth keeping his card!

Second that. Few friends have rented when we went down. The King is a nice guy, very helpful.

Yeah thanks for that. we will hopefully get a few people out before the "summer" ends..
I have a hardtail that needs some breaking in, so hopefully we will find a good place down there for that. but we would all be beginners..
