Personally I'd get rid of it.

I'd get rid of it too. Some clown installs it on some shared computers at work that are linked to machinery and it is a pain in the ass altogether. It doesn't do anything that isn't done already as far as I can see...

Ya, I deleted it off my new laptop too. As said above it probably doesn't do anything that Google can't do already, but I'm certainly not making things any easier for them!

It records everything on your PC and tells Google all about it. </tinfoil_hat>
Google addons are all banned in my workplace for security reasons. Personally I see no advantage to having it and Google's privacy policies are a joke so I'd get rid of it.

I don't really see the point of it on Vista since Vista does a lot of it itself.

Yeah im assuming its a dell machine , because they come with allot of junk pre-installed , try looking for dell de-crapafier , dunno if there is a recent vista one out, it was really handy.

I had it on two computers , tried it for a while but didn't see any advantage of it so got rid of.

lol this totally pointless on vista , all you need to do is click on the start button to gets vistas own search .

Google pack might have been a bit more usefull though it offers nothing you
cant download individually. http://pack.google.com/intl/en/pack_installer.html?hl=en&gl=us and even still there are much better alternatives to some of the stuff they have there
