Hi there, I just started studing with IOB recently I just noticed your comment about having 2 exams in 1 day, do you not get to choose your exam dates from the registration forms and the prospectus?

Its the first time Ive studied in a while so I just appiled for the 1 for the mo, first exam in Jan all going well!!

    Hi,

I done 3 last May(I think?), two on one Saturday and the other one on the following Saturday. No problems with them - investments, life assurance and loans.

I'm doing the last 3 next month, again two and one. These three should be harder (pensions, planning, regulation) So i'll probably do a bit of studying after this weekend in the run up to the exams, unlike the last exams which were winged quite successfully.

    Best of luck.

You can choose, but the exams I need to sit are on the one day, - one is a repeat exam (bloody pensions), or I'd have to wait until january to sit one of them, which isn't an option as i want to finish the qfa this year.

bstar, both in the rds thank god, i sat three in my first term and found it grand, but was knackered, literally came home from work and start studing, but for just the week or so before the exam. Its worth it to get them done without dragging them out to long. although I failed pensions by about two percent - or one question, which i put down to being tired as the exam itself wasn't too bad. It was the last one in that term and i was already gone home in my head, so bascially I rushed it.
