Hi guys, just looking for a little advice. I've managed to get my rear lawn (very big, almost third of an acre, and split level:(), its very, very uneven, (lots of bumps and hollows) in places and I was wondering what is the best way to deal with this? Thought of getting a vibrating roller from work to level it out but was told this would have a detrimental effect on the lawn.

I leveled my lawn by taking the turf from the bumps and laying it in the dips and then re-seeding where I lifted the sod from. After that it's using topdressing with a mix of sharps and, topsoil and seed every few months to fine tune the levels.

    I'm older than Minecraft goats.

Good advice, OldGoat (even better username!). Forget the vibrating roller unless you plan on paving the garden.
