I’m looking to buy a pretty much entry level laptop for the following use:-

Internet -Wireless access, Spreadsheet processing, Uploading Images, Music/Media storage…. Nothing overly demanding.

Even though the machine is for very basic usage I’d like to have an element of future proofing, therefore I would like the the notebook to have a decent enough processor, a minimum of 2 GB Ram, 80 - 120 GB hard drive, Plenty of USB 2.0 Slots, DVDRW, 5-1 Card Reader

One machine I have looked at is an Acer Aspire Model 5920 LX.AKV0X.148 from www.laptopsdirect.ie . I think it’s working out (I think) at about €440 delivered? Is this value?

It looks like it’s not a bad spec but I’ll let you guys who know tell me… Any other suggestions of models/machines and where to buy?
