Yep, it's my favourite building on campus, and as I think I've even said on here a few times before, my favourite building in the world.

Dont know about the world. But certainly my favorite building in Dublin. Can anyone remind me why the otheside of the building is never cleaned. Heared it was something to do with the last time it was cleaned bout twenty years ago. There was a cold snap which caused a couple of inches of granit to fall off the exterior walls.

I love the Museum Building Certainly beats the poured concrete look of Belfeild

May I just point out that they also share it with the Geology students... In fact, not only is it called the Museum Building after the Geological Museum it houses, but that link you provided is actually on the Geology department website.

Whimsical, are you (hopefully!) doing Geography through TSM or Science? I presume TSM, as in Science you would not have picked your subjects yet... I took Geography in first year Science, despite not having done it for the Leaving Cert, and I loved it! We only did about half the course that the TSM students did, mind, because Geography and Geology were two half subjects that combined to be one Science subject for us. However, most of the lectures are interesting enough, and it's not too hard to keep up with the course. In the half of it that we took, there was a lot of continuous assessment - we did a group project where we had to design a webpage and put information on it, and we had a rather large essay to hand in after Easter (though I think TSM do other essays in the modules that Science students don't take) At the time we complained about the work, but we were oh so glad of it come exam time as it was easy to do well!
