    Have they scrapped the hour long Six One during the week? Or is it just a temporary thing?

    off topic but not worthy of a thread either, anyhoo , whats will the silly outside locations for reports. they were doing one a couple of days back about something medical, cancer prevention I think, so they did the report from sandymount strand, what is that about, given that RTE is just across the road from Vincents hospital you think there would have been more appropriate if they feel the need to get outdoors.

    For some reason its de-rigure to do a report from an outside location, like it justifies the cost of employing a correspondent or something. I suspect its TVs way of saying "look! we have resources and we're gonna use them" well grand for you. Meanwhile some hack is has stand out in a downpour with not even a brolly or hat (as they, esp hats, are against the rules)
