OH Jesus, have just moved out of an apt in galway that I was stuck living in for 6 months.....ok, well, not entirely stuck, what i mean is, i had to play ball in order to get my deposit back. Am a little surprised, I naively thought that Galway would have a better track record for accommodation standards than Dublin at least :(:( . On the hunt again now, queued outside the galway advertiser office yesterday, saw a couple of places, but prices are pretty steep. I feel like warning everyone and anyone to stay away from my landlord!!!:mad: Anyone out there get screwed over by landlord in Galway??? Surely im not the only one!!

Sorry to hear about your problem. I'm also looking for a place myself. 'Just wondering what time does the Advertiser office open?

Name and shame. And if theyre registered then they could be blacklisted if they're reported.

boards.ie isn't the place for naming and shaming. Go to the PRTB and your local council's housing department.

Please say no! Advertiser Accomodation section is available for 2euro at 2pm on Wednesdays.
