Application won't stay on extended monitor

I have a laptop here running XP sp2 connected to an external monitor with extended desktop. If move any application, word / outlook etc. to the external monitor they work fine, but one application won't, Reflecion X, a Windows app used to access apps on *nix hosts.

The program works fine on the laptop screen, but when moved to the external monitor it can't be used. When I move the mouse towards the application it moves away until it appears back on the laptop screen.

I tried googling the problem but I haven't had any luck there.

I've tried reinstalling the application and the graphics drivers, makes no difference. Any suggestions?

    Cheers.

I assume you have the latest version of Reflection X ? The specs on the web page you linked to does explicitly mention that it supports multiple monitors.

Yeah its the latest version, and it has worked before!
I just find it really bizarre that any other application works, just not this one!

if the monitor is to the left of the desktop then try again with it on the right hand side in case it's something stupid like negative co-ordinates

Are you serious, that can cause it?
It is on the left now alright lol, I'll check that out tomorrow :D

I don't think he means physically on the right or left, but logically, i.e. in which order the logical desktops are (at least I hope that's what he means :pac:)

I'm pretty sure he's talking about which is the primary monitor and which is number 2.

You were correct, it works fine on the right but not on the left!

Next question, can I overcome this somehow?? :)
