Does anybody have a contact name / number in Meteor for serious issues?

    Hi folks,

    I'm in the middle of a fairly annoying dispute with Meteor and their 1905 staff are giving me the complete runaround. I want this sorted as soon as possible and have a rake of letters ready to send to the Director of evey department I can imagine.

    I want to try one more time to resolve it over the phone though so rather than just ringing 1905 and asking to speak to a supervisor, does anybody have a name and preferably a direct line for a customer care supervisor / manager in Meteor?

    Not entirely helpful mate... I had a number for a ************* there who was fantastic but lost it in a catastrophic phone failure (a.k.a. a taxi ran over it).

    It might be helpful if you briefly outline your problems so that, in the event someone does have a direct line to a Meteor customer care manager/supervisor, they can direct you to the most appropriate person for you to deal with.

    And I'm a little curious as well... :D

    Some people in Customer Care are absolutely brilliant. I always mean to take down their details (or even their names), but I usually forget. It's usually more than half the time that they're helpful, and about one in ten are a real gem.

    And yes, what seems to be the issue, I'm quite curious now.

    Essentially it's a billing issue but can't really go into much more detail than that. Phantom calls on my account, wouldn't be so much of a problem except for the way a couple of members of their support team have treated me... one completely ignored me and one essentially called me a lying thief. I've been a Meteor customer for almost as long as they've been in business so I kinda want to talk to someone who'll listen about this.

    I also find Meteor support to be, 90% of the time, amazing... I just seem to run into that 10% whenever it's something serious!

    Have you asked for the issue to be escalated to a supervisor? Whose hands is the issue in at present i.e. have you been told it's being investigated and by whom (Tech team/IT/Network Operations/Fraud etc.)?

    I used to work for Meteor customer care and tech desk, so I'm familiar with the procedures for escalating and resolving issues like this. If you can give me some more info on what's currently being done to resolve the issue, I can probably give you advice on the best course of action :)
