    i have an advent laptop running on xp when i try to start it is says hardriveis corrupet, i replaced the hardrive and got the same heading, hepl would be appreciate, thanks in advance

    We're going to need more information than that. What's the exact error message?

    Did you install the new hard drive inside the laptop yourself? Did you re-install your operating system (Windows) back on?

    Download the diagnostics utility from your hard drive manufacturers website and run it to check the hard disk is ok, if it isnt, you will need to replace the hard disk
