    Hi folks,

Got a very nice XPS laptop a while back and a Samsung 32" LCD-TV (LE32S81B).
Tried hooking both up via a VGA cable.
All looks lovely, expect when playing Pro Evolution Soccer 6, I noticed the game somewhere 'jerks' a bit. I thought this odd, as on the laptop, it's perfect.
Haven't tried any other games yet.
    What could be causing this?
Are there settings on the laptop or TV I should be changing to get smoother play?

Hope this is ok in this forum... thought there might be other gaming laptop users here.

    thanks

EDIT - ok, just found out it may have something to do with the resolution I'm using on both... duh.. should have thought of that. Will try fiddling around and report back.

Yeah its probably whats known as Tearing. Try setting it to the same resolution as you would play on the XPS and see if that doesnt solve it. If not, do you have any other ports other than VGA, like a DVI?
