Not really given the amount of rain we have had over the past few days and the preceding couple of weeks. I wouldn't be surprised if the rains yesterday managed to get under the covers.

Not too sure as to the logic behind this but ...

"Toss Details Ireland have won the toss and rather surprisingly have elected to bat

5.35 pm Finally we have some play, starting at 6.00pm with a minimum of 16 overs to be bowled tonight"

I might have been a bit ahead of myself ...

"Match Notes Play is due start at 6pm, but it has just started drizzling again. The tarpaulins are going back on!
Latest update at 5:52 PM Local Time"

Tomorrow is forecast to be a good day, hopefully eveyone is happy with the state of the pitch tomorrow.

Think I'll head for the day tomorrow, with rain predicted on Sat and Sun this has draw written all over it.

It really annoys me that a rain affected draw only receives 3 points while an abandonment gets 10 points.
