Any garage should be able to make them for you, motor factors, main dealer, etc.
They are normally about €20 - €25 for a pair.

They can make them up in minutes.

    Chauffe, Marcel, chauffe!

Halfords do the cheap plastic ones - they'll make them on the spot. They can even install them onto your car (for a small fee)

Slightly off-topic. Anyone know where to get those German style metal plates here in Ireland like these ones:

    http://eutags.com.test.gradwell.net/?shopper=483f61272b3db88fe80ddfe0e43308c8&shopcat=plates1#

£35STG each is a bit much for number plates.

Bear in mind of you buy them and fit them yourself you will need to drill them, use the existing plates so you know exactly where to drill. Also drill from the adhesive side or you will de-laminate the adhesive from the other side when drilling.

Yuo coudl also use double-sided mounting tape. They use that a lot in the UK.

The ONLY plates worth fitting to any vehicle (IMHO) are embossed metal plates ...as supplied by Windsor Motors, etc (cost €25 per pair). All other plates are a close second to them!;)

Pic of embossed plates (NB: These ARE NOT the metal plates that fall apart after a few months, embossed plates are pressed from a single sheet...not two sheets like the cheap metal plates) ..........
