    Hi all,

    I am having a printing issue with a lexmark 2580 all in one printer. I am running xp sp3. Basically when i do a test page or try to print from any office app eg word, the document will appear in the spooler, status will change to delete and nothing will print.

    I have uninstalled the software, removed all traces of lexmark drivers from server properties, removed all drivers from c:\windows\system32\spool\ and removed all traces of lexmark from from registry and deleted lexmark folder from Programm Files.

    I then rebooted, reinstalled and still same problem. I have installed it on another machine and works fine, and installed a HP printer on the original machine and that prints fine. anyone any ideas before i fcuk both the machine and printer out the window. Its a compaq presario machine, I think they can glide if not fly??

    yeah, the only help i got was to install the latest drivers which i did and still nothing
