Highlights monday on SS2, and TG4 wednesday night at 11.

    Melbourne v Geelong : Cats
Carlton v Port Adelaide : Blues
Hawthorn v Brisbane Lions : Hawks
Collingwood v St Kilda : Saints
Sydney Swans v Fremantle : Swans
North Melbourne v Western Bulldogs : Dogs
    Adelaide v Richmond : Crows
West Coast Eagles v Essendon : Bombers

Cats by a cricket score, blues to edge out Port, Hawks to easily beat Lions as they really dont go well in Melbourne this year. I think the saints might do the pies after their bad week. Swans to get a vital win. Dogs to win a tough game, this is one I could see the roos snatching. Crows should have enough at home, and while I fancy the Eagles to win at home, bombers are in a good run so will prob win.

Can't argue with any of those so it's a copy and paste job from me!

    Melbourne v Geelong : Cats
Carlton v Port Adelaide : Blues
Hawthorn v Brisbane Lions : Hawks
Collingwood v St Kilda : Saints
Sydney Swans v Fremantle : Swans
North Melbourne v Western Bulldogs : Dogs
    Adelaide v Richmond : Crows
West Coast Eagles v Essendon : Bombers

Should be some good games again this week.

Last two Eagles home games are both on a Sunday which I can't go due to my own soccer games. With no finals football I won't be at an AFL game now til 2009 :(

Cats ended up scraping home by over 100 points in the end. 12.3 to no score at first quarter. Wet conditions probably helped Demons, if it was better I'd say the Cats handling and speed would really have destroyed them!

A superb 10-point win for the Eagles today over the Bombers at Subi. Ben McKinley kicked 7 in a superb individual performance.

Great watchin the Dockers choke again yesterday too! Adam Goodes was just awesome.

Good wins for Geelong, Carlton and Hawthorn. Sydney win another close battle, Collingwood win to keep their chances alive, N.Melbourne grab a key win over the Bulldogs to cement their chances, and Essendon lose against WCE when a win was needed to keep them more in touch. They are not out of it yet, although they are just hanging on by their fingernails.

The top-3 are certain to qualify, but with 12 pts left to play for, Sydney are not yet there mathematically, nor are Adelaide.

The table looks something like this:
    Pos Team Pts G W L D %
    1 Geelong 72 19 18 1 0 160.28
    2 Hawthorn 60 19 15 4 0 129.29
    3 Western Bulldogs 58 19 14 4 1 119.99
    4 Sydney 46 19 11 7 1 116.36
    5 North Melbourne 46 19 11 7 1 99.56
    6 Adelaide 44 19 11 8 0 110.11
    7 Collingwood 40 19 10 9 0 109.78
    8 St Kilda 40 19 10 9 0 100.23

    9 Brisbane 36 19 9 10 0 100.63
    10 Carlton 36 19 9 10 0 99.28
    11 Richmond 34 19 8 10 1 91.51
    12 Essendon 32 19 8 11 0 87.71
    13 Fremantle 20 19 5 14 0 94.21
    14 Port Adelaide 20 19 5 14 0 89.24
    15 West Coast 16 19 4 15 0 69.38
    16 Melbourne 8 19 2 17 0 63.20

Good performances from Clarke and Kennelly again, with Kennelly getting 125 in SuperCoach, his 2nd highest of the season.

I should have went with my heart and not my head. The 3 games I had doubts about in the picks were the 3 games that went the other way to form!

Only full game I saw over the weekend was the Collingwood St Kilda game. Really good contest, and delighted for the pies to win it. Clarke had a solid game again for them, and has nailed down his spot after an indifferent start to the year. Leon Davis kicked a huge goal on the touchline, spectacular stuff. I switched on the Hawks/Lions game at half time and it was something pathetic like 26-14 at that stage, so I dint bother watching the rest of it. And same with Crows/tigers, as Crows were running away with it. Cant wait to see the eagles game tho.
