Hi guys, could do wit some help! Me and my girlfriend, both 22, are looking to go on a sun holiday on the 23rd August for a week, but don't kno where! We've been to Sunny Beach in Bulgaria and it was excellent! Cheap, good night life (but not Mental or full of mobs), but we wanna go somewhere different! We were also in Kos, taught it was good, lots to see and do but tame nightlife! I myself was in Ayia napa, Mental nightlife but nothing to do during the day! Looking for something quite opposite for me and girlfriend!

    Really appreciate any suggestions!!!

i think pureto del carmen in lanzarote would be a good choice, you can make decide how wild your nightlife is , loads to do , good restaurants and a gorgeous beach.

ive been there once and going again soon and it never fails to excite me .me and my boyf go, so it is for couples.

    hope that helps

Hersonnisis in crete... Loads to do there, check out the Star Beach venue, free entry, just lounge by the pool or do bungee jumping or parasailing... Class place!!!

Totally agree with this. Beautiful spot. I went a few years ago with an ex of mine and we had a great time. We stayed in between the old and new town. The new town has lots of lively bars and nightclubs where as the old town has some lovely, quieter bars and fab restaurants.

    Definitely a couples place.

I was just looking up holidays in Lanzarote for OH and myself and am undecided on where to stay. Would be greatful if anyone could recommend any nice accommodation in the area. Thanks

I'd recommend Zakynthos - and the resort of Tsilivi - lovely safe beach, good selection of bars and lovely restaurants. It's lively, but not a lager-lout type place. If you want a mental night out, head to Laganas (about 20 minute taxi journey away)!! You can visit Zakynthos Town and Bochali during the day, or take a boat ride to see the blue caves/shipwreck/turtles etc.

Most places in Lanzarote are fine. My favourite is Matagorda which is outside Puerto Del C but only a walk away.

Pretty much any apartment will be within walking distance of the beach.

If you want to spend the money then have a look at Fariones apartments. There are a lot of places that have bungalows rather than apartments and are nice. Means you can walk in and out from the pool. Usually means a fairly small complex as well.

Top flight have good deals for eptember atm.

If you're going down the DIY route of getting your own flights and accom then I can pm you the number of the womans apartment we stayed in last year if you need it clara.Nice spot in the old town.Sound to deal with.

Agree Lanzarote is good.Like the fact that you can have your night on the beer or a night chilling out in a decent restaurant.
