www.laptopsdirect.ie is probably one of the cheapest places. Based in england, excellent range and price. I have bought a few laptops/tv's from them without any problems.

Otherwise you could checkout the dell outlet store... http://outlet.dell.com/Emea_Dfo/EuDispatcher?country=IRL&target=InventoryPage&lob_constraint=INSP

Generally speaking, you will get a better deal online.

I personally don't believe the likes of Power City offer good value for money.

The Laptop Shop, however, have been known to match online prices.

I'll add my usual warning about laptopsdirect - do a search on this forum before making your mind up. A lot of mixed responses, some good, some bad, but then again you could say that about most retailers.

What irked me is their continual shilling here, very underhanded business practices.

Is it Dell making good laptops? I heard different opinions about dell. If I decide go for Dell laptop which one will you recommended?
    Any other propositions?
I had over 5year sony laptop, and I was very happy from it.
And I still looking for the best place to buy a laptop.

Hell even google brings it up.

First one links to their site, after that not so good.

I have found them excellent to be honest, better than i thought they would be actually and anyone i know who has used they has been just as happy.

You're bound to get bad press when your doing as much business as they are. The amount bad Press about Dell for instance...even Komplett get some and they are top notch generally.
They are the cheapest place i know for Laptops, keep a huge range, have fast shipping from the UK so i recommend them.

Is there another Site/Company that would have the same Price/Laptop Range with better Press?

I dont know about their other stuff but prices on ASUS EEEs are hysterically high at the moment eg EEE 2G 212 euro in Elara two ninety something in white (two fifty in black-what gives?!) in laptopsdirect.ie

The one in Elara for €212 is 2GB & only 256MB Memory.

The one you selected from Laptops Direct is most lightly their older stock. If you check again they have the 4GB 512mb version in White for €251.....

I know Elara are still cheaper but its not by as much as you make out. Plus i dont think they actually keep them in stock, i think that is the stock that their supplier has.
