Corrupted furken memory card

Was putting my Micro SD HC card back in my Nokia 6120 classic last night and it didn't click so as the phone tried to read it it popped back out.

Now the phone can't see any data on it. Rescued the pics and stuff on the laptop,

Just wondering, is the only way to restore it to fully format it? If I do this then can I just drop the music and pics back into their respective folders afterwards?

    thanks for any help.

I would format it alright. As you say, it's just drag and drop after that.
You would normally get corruption when a write to the card goes wrong though, not a read.

make sure all photos and files are assessable on pc before formatting card. I've done it before only to find all my files buggered because of default memory card passwords and stuff.
