    Had a bit of a Family Guy phase some years ago but for consistency (even with the recent dodgy episodes) I'd plump for The Simpsons.

    Family Guy-far more laughs per episode. Simpsons was more groundbreaking though, and Family Guy owes a lot to it

    Family guy has just upped it a notch from the Simpsons...

    But then Southpark, Futurama, American Dad all have their moments too...!! :P

    Family Guy rules though, the Star Wars remake they did was the best thing I've seen on TV in years...! Was better than Star Wars... ;)

    Simpsons just edges it for me,although I don't really watch the new ones now.

    On a side note I think southpark is the best written currently at the moment.

    Seen a few sh!t simpsons episodes but have to say don't remember a bad family guy...?!! suppose the simpsons have had a longer time and many more episodes so alwasy going to be a few crappy ones out there..!

    Family Guy by a country mile, The Simpson are the U2 of animated series IMO while Family Guy are in the same class as The Moldy Peaches.

    I haven't watched the simpsons since the time Blair flew away on a jetpack, I vowed there and then never to watch that rubbish again.

    However I was dissapointed with the recent star war episodes of family guy, maybe its because i never bothered with star wars itself.

    Off subject, the best simpsons episode ever was when Homer became the beer baron.
