Posting it in the Computers & Technology section though, was always gonna show up a lot of FF users.
Try it in AH, there's a fair few still stuck on IE I'd say.
FF all the way for me, unless it's an MS site

Grand, shall we move it into AH for a wider audience?

The last 500 visitors to my site (genealogy-related so older users) have broken down:
    282 56.40% IE7.0
    165 33.00% IE6.0
    30 6.00% Firefox2.0.0
    10 2.00% Firefox3.0.1
    9 1.80% Safari1.2
    4 0.80% Firefox3.0

Heavy on US users too, which might make a difference.

The IE7 result is surpising, god love Microsoft pushing it out via Windows updates as Critical.

If someone is using IE6, then I would see IE7 as a critical update to it, regardless of browser choice.

Hell, even if you use firefox, it's probably worth updating IE to 7 for anything that might be using it's rendering engine.

Firefox vast majority of time. Opera when using proxies.

The websites that don't work with firefox don't work with IE7. Apart from Microsofts site. Reason why most companys are still on IE6.

    Internet Ex-what-er?

Firefox all the way. These days I barely notice a difference between IE and FF, just got used to using FF.

A large proportion of that number is probably Vista users - IE7 is Vista's default browser. I use FF3 myself. Work uses IE6 but I have FirefoxPortable for that situation :)

FF2 at home. Installed FF3 at work and I don't like it.

Have heard a lot of good things about Opera, but I'm slow to give it a go. Happy with FF so ignorance is bliss for me!
