    Anyone know if the PC World 599 Sony laptop is really a good deal?
    I have until this evening to find out - deal ends today!

    17 inch screen

    I'd be guessing but I think 2GB RAM.

    I would be surprised if its a 17, more likely a 15.

    2gb ram

    1.73 core duo

    160 hard drive

    vista

    think they are the settings

    For what its worth PC World also had this for €599 (Presario A900)

    I was passing by Peats on Parnell street yesterday and they had a Sony Laptop for €599 advertised in the Window,might be the same.

    Its a cheap CPU. Pentium Dual Core (Not Core2Duo) Only 1Mb of cache etc...
    Slow RAm 533Mhz and the screen is prob not "Truelife"/"ultrabrite" otherwise it would be mentioned
