The Call Me message? He would send a free message entering your number and you would recieve a text to call him. What the message says depends on the network it comes from though, and may not include the network name.

You kind of can't find that out to be honest.

Unless you go with Master Walshes reply and work it out from there.

    Well done.

Incidentally, AFAIK, Vodafone have a little beep at the start of the call to tell you that it's an offnet (non-Vodafone & therefore more expensive) call. So, you'd try the number from a Vodafone mobile & if you got the beep, you'd try it from O2 (who I think also have it. If you get the beep from them, you're down to Meteor & Three. Dunno how to get the last one, except by going into a shop when it's fairly quiet & chatting the salesperson up to try check on the system whether the number is one of theirs.

Check your bill? An online account will show your last call and the network.

I think the beep occurs on a different network from the original network you were on regardless of what network you are now currently on.
