    Are there any unused or closed airstrips or airports in Ireland?
    (looking for long straight stretch of road)

    The only one I can think of is Ballyhalbert on the Ards peninsula. It's a former RAF bomber base.

    Not that I know of, sorry. And I think the one on Ards is a caravan park now... I know there are a few in the North due to the second war.
